Unix Systems Administrator
Our client is one of Belfast’s largest employers and a household name. They are at the forefront of cutting edge technologies and are a very professional company. They are looking for an IT professional to co-ordinate and provide support and maintenance to their UNIX technology platforms.
In order to be successful in this role you must have experience of:
Unix Systems Administration in Linux and Solaris-based environments
Knowledge of HP DL-series hardware
Knowledge of Sun hardware up to and including Sun F15/25k Frames
Customer support in a time-critical environment
Perl and shell-scripting skills
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that will offer career choices and training that is second to none. This role will be on a shift basis with an out-of-hours on call responsibility shared amongst 12 people.
